2. Help! I am completely new to security systems!
Normally, a very basic security system consists of a control panel, keypad, and protection of the perimeter doors or windows. Many customers like to install interior motion detectors or glass breaks for extra burglary protection. Lloyd Security can also install fire and environmental devices, medical and emergency panics, access control systems, CCTVs, intercoms, nanny cams, and safe rooms.

4. Do I need a phone line for my security system to be monitored?
Security systems do require some sort of phone line in order to send alarm signals to the central station. However, Lloyd Security carries cellular connection units that can take the place of a physical, land line -or- they can act as a backup line in case of power outages, phone lines are cut, or you have a VoIP line. 5. I have a system already installed, that is not monitored. Can you monitor it?
Lloyd Security prides itself in its ability to reconnect and monitor most any system! If you need modifications, we will work with you to get the proper equipment upgraded or added in order to get you the system you desire. When you speak with our Security Consultant, let us know any information you may have on the brand, model, or previous monitoring company- it will help us assess your system better!
6. I am unhappy with my current monitoring company! Can you take over monitoring of my system?
Our goal is to make sure all our customers feel protected and are happy with their monitored security system. We are always willing and ready to take over monitoring of an unsatisfied, security system owner. We will work with you to transfer the monitoring of your current system so you can take advantage of the excellent service provided by Lloyd!
7. Do you sell security equipment so I can install myself?
Unfortunately, we do not sell DIY security equipment. We work with distributors who only sell to licensed security companies. However, we can service your existing security system, install new and of course, begin monitoring of any system.
